- To look cool

- Peer pressure 

- The media promotion 

- It seems sexy in movies 

- "It releases stress"

- To look mature

- Gives them pleasure

- Makes you feel older

- Because everyone does it

 My opinion on smoking cigarettes its like whatever. I don't smoke and i don't mind if some else smokes its none of my business , but i personality cant stand the stink of it. Everyone does it so its nothing we don't see everyday. Although smoking does kill and cause digesting diseases people don't mind. Its promoted in movies, normal t.v. , in famous people, and in gas station windows. If someone has a problem with it they just have to deal with it, because i'm sure it wont become illegal anytime soon or at all. Even though everyone knows its bad nobody seems to make it seem bad with all the promotion. Teens will be cruise to see how it feels to smoke one, but theres stronger drugs out there that they try as well. People will always smoke maybe because they wont be able to quite, i don't smoke or even care if people do but that might just be me.
